Theismann’s Earhole is an irreverent look at the worlds of college and pro football by a couple guys whose only credentials are that we love the game and have way too much spare time on our hands.
Pete and I have been great friends for close to 15 years now, but our sports affinities couldn’t be more opposed. I grew up in Lansing, Michigan a tortured Detroit Lions and Michigan State Spartans fan. Pete, on the other hand, grew up on the South Side of Chicago a die-hard Notre Dame, Illinois and Dallas Cowboys fan (I’ll let him explain the Lone Star love himself).
The idea of having one blog from two writers with two very different perspectives is to give a little broader view of the football landscape than you’d get out of a typical fan blog. But really, it’s just an excuse to take our ridiculous arguments to the next level and possibly entertain (or annoy) some people along the way.
